Description

This piece i made for =Ellygator's mysterious objects and totum contest. the moment i read it i knew i had to enter.... Beadweaving as an art is a heritage of the native americans. back to the roots of where this craft that i love so very much originates from... what a challenge. when i develloped the idea in my mind and then on paper i had no idea if it was possible. but somehow i managed. :) i am extremely happy with the ammount of detail i managed to sneak in. so a fair few close up shots will be uploaded :)

i hope you all like this as much as i had fun creating it. Its a big step forward to me in beadembroidery to which i am still so very new (for the watchfull eye this is my third beadembroidery :P)

also re materials i would really like to focus our attention on some of the lush components i got my hands on.
- the eyes of the lady and the little 3D element necklace were made from tiny facetted kyanites: [link]=DSC06237.jpg
-the eyes of the otter are he tiniest seed fresh water pearl u ever saw!!![link]
Furthermore i used dyed fresh waterpearls, swarovski crystals, 6mm round onyx, shells, wood beads (the otters nose is a black wood bead btw!) & hematites.

the feathers in her hair are from my aunt and uncle's aggeponnes birds, freely shed without force, thank you little ones! the two tiiiiny feathers i got from our local childrens farm, thanks to the lorekeets who kindly shed them for my purpose. :)

This design is my copyright and may not be used without my written consent please respect artists copyrights. this piece involved over 30hours of designing and creating.

many thanks for watching, feedback and favs up front! :)

Your third beadembroidery! I am just realy taken away with how well designed this is. The flow is stunning and it has an earthy feel.
